es not know what the right one is doing - utter incompetence of secretaries, doctors not thorough, not knowledgeable - a disaster!
Very rude receptionist, I was on the phone, polite and only queried procedure, she would not supply her name and cut me off.
re-training necessary.
Each time I have tried to contact a gp or get an appt I have been unable to ! On numerous occasions I have had to go to a&e as the surgery has not had any appts. When I have tried to make a complaint to the manager. He has been rude arrogant and made sure I felt bad
So in the end he said his receptionist are ok and I am wrong! I am deeply hurt by his remarks as if a patient is made to feel that they keep coming to the surgery when they don’t see a doctor for six months? who can a patient talk to when a receptionist has been rude to them?
poor appointment service and booking
lines always busy
appointments are gone by the first 5 minutes of opening times
appointment times book never happen on time even when you're early, end up waiting a further 20mins after scheduled appointment time
I have found the doctors and nurses at the Phoenix Practice an absolute delight and very down to earth and humble. However, this all goes to the backburner by the experience I get from the reception staff. They are rude and not helpful at all and most of the times sound like they are shouting at you. We talk a lot about respect to staff in hospitals and GP surgeries and zero tolerance policy, however it seems this is not reciprocated. We cannot even tell them that they are rude as they will try and throw the zero-tolerance policy on your face.
